RIYADH — The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) spokesman Hussain Al-Qahtani has confirmed that Saudi Arabia does not have any programs or projects that are focused on dissipating clouds.
Al-Qahtani stated that Saudi Arabia only has a program to increase cloud seeding in order to increase precipitation. This suggests that the Kingdom is a semi-desert nation that always requires water.
Al-Qahtani said that what is said and written about about clouds dispersing in Saudi Arabia is a rumor that is always repeated during the rainy seasons and is false information.
He made the observation that Saudi Arabia requires water reserves and requires every drop of rain.
