The entertainment industry in Pakistan has made it clear that they don’t get royalties, and we’ve seen them approach various political leaders to stop the practice. They have repeatedly protested for royalties, and PTI Senator Faisal Javed has announced on Twitter that he has introduced a royalties bill for the country’s artists.
Javed posted a tweet on Monday that read, “After getting the resolution passed unanimously last year.” Glad to announce that it was indeed a pleasure to present the vital royalties bill today, particularly for our nation’s poor creatives.
